Every child deserves access to a quality education, no matter their zip code.
Expanded educational opportunities give parents the ability to choose the school or program that best fits their child’s needs and help close the learning gap for students from middle- and low-income households. For children in each state to benefit, states must elect to participate in the federal program. Governors or designated officers pursuant to state law must complete and submit IRS Form 15714 to the IRS in order for the children in their state to benefit from the federal tax credit scholarship program. By “opting in,” governors can help more families across their state access those opportunities.
The scholarships help students in any school setting, public, private, homeschool, access additional resources and services such as :
- Tutoring and academic support
- After-school and summer programs
- Technology and educational tools
- Special needs services
Best of all, it costs the states NOTHING. Donations are entirely privately funded, and will ADD resources to K-12 education.
The new federal tax credit provides a generational opportunity for students across the country.
MORE options for families.
MORE support for students.
STRONGER educational opportunities.
All available to families once the governor opts in.
